Haunted houses, spooky areas among attractions planned for Halloween 2022 event at Columbus Zoo

There will be four haunted houses this year: Catacombs, where you can visit the realm of the undead; Eternal Darkness, a near-dark experience that begins at dusk; Pleasant Screams, where you will come face to face with your worst nightmares; and the Sinister Sideshow, where 3D glasses let you see evil clowns and other acts of horror up close.

Visitors can also get their adrenaline pumping in two spooky zones, including a new attraction where zombies have descended on the town of Dead River, Ohio, as well as six rides featuring bumper cars and the classic roller coaster in Sea Dragon wood.

Is ZOMBIEzi Bay family friendly?

Parental discretion is advised, as attractions may be too intense for young children.
