The 400+ acre Medina River Ranch Resort offers abundant native and exotic wildlife hunting, hiking, a swimming lagoon, boat dock, and fishing on Medina Lake. The property is listed by Guy Allcorn, associate broker at Texas Ranch Sales. Animals found on the property include elk, fallow, axis, black fallow deer, addax, oryx, scimitar oryx, red deer, aoudad, mouflon, sika and the zebra, according to the list.

The property is 10 miles from Bandera, “The Cowboy Capital of the World”, and about an hour from San Antonio. The lodge can accommodate around 80 people or more. A “spectacular gated entrance” from Old Castroville paved road leads to a mile-long paved ranch road that leads to a bridge over Rocky Creek and then to the main lodge and conference center overlooking Medina Lake, according to the listing.

The lodge and conference center has a state-of-the-art entertainment center and includes a business center, a lounge area with a bar, and a lake-view patio for alfresco dining. There are clear grazing areas, a boat launch, a dock at Medina Lake, and a helicopter pad. The property can be used for everything from business/corporate retreats to weddings.

Near the main lodge is the Ranch Villa with 12 luxury hotel-style rooms, five elegant cabins with a combined total of 15 rooms, and a dormitory that can sleep up to 10 people, according to the listing.

This ranch has white-tailed deer scoring 120 to 350 thanks to a decade-long focus on improved genetics and a science-based feeding program. Other native species on site include fox, bobcat, dove and turkey.
