Married to At First Sight’s Martha Kalifatidis and his mother on the Keeping Up with the Kardashians style show

Martha Kalifatidis, married to First Sight, and her mother, reality TV star Mary, are ‘looking for a network’ for a Keeping Up with the Kardashians-style family show

Mary Kalifatidis has hinted that she and her daughter Martha Kalifatidis may be heading for a Keeping Up with the Kardashians-style reality show.

Martha, 34, who shot to fame on season six of Married at First Sight in 2019, has already been dubbed the “Kmart Kim Kardashian” by fans.

Her mother Mary, 56, made her reality TV debut as a contestant on Big Brother Australia last year.

When asked if a “Kardashians”-inspired series was in the family’s future, Mary admitted that it just might be.

“I don’t know if Australia is ready for that but who knows, I mean it would be fun,” she told the Herald Sun on Saturday.

‘Everything can happen. If we find the right network, here we are,” she added.

It’s a change of heart for the Melbourne-based mother-of-three, who said last year she had no plans to return to reality TV after spending more than 45 days in the Big Brother house.

“I’m getting back to my cooking and making my videos for Instagram,” Mary told Daily Mail Australia at the time. ‘No thanks. I’m finished. No project”.

Martha meanwhile continued her career in reality TV by appearing on Celebrity Apprentice last year.

Mary revealed TV execs had previously tried to reunite the mother-daughter duo on a show, with Martha also being offered a spot on Big Brother.

“It was supposed to be me and then her coming in as an intruder, but she was offered a celebrity apprentice, which was a better move, I guess, for her,” she added.

Mary said that while Martha was thrilled at the opportunity to appear on Big Brother, she felt Nine’s Celebrity Apprentice was “more up her alley”.
